Aviation | Communications & Lighting
Bright has supported various military programmes with critical components for defence communications and defence lighting. We have been involved with vehicle intercom systems, as well wingtip, fuselage, naval and airport LED lighting. Some of our components also support land platforms and are shipped globally by our Tier 1 and OEM customers.

Aerospace | Fuel systems, Hydraulics and Aerostructures
Our one-hit machining supports the manufacture of complex pipe fittings in high-temperature nickel alloys. Critical connectors and tee pieces are used extensively for the transmission of air, fuel and water across aircraft platforms and their engines. We have also supported civilian and military programmes with structural machined components, as well as interior parts for aircraft seating and washroom projects.

Defence | Precision Components and Ground Support Tooling
The UK and Ireland boast some of the world’s most mission critical defence companies and Bright Engineering forms part of that supply chain ecosystem, supplying Tier 1 and OEM companies with high precision machined components and assemblies. We specialise in fully built precision assemblies which include machined components, surface treatments such as colour anodising, and specialist processes such as honing and grinding.

Semiconductor & Electronics
With the increase in electrification, artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies, there is an increased demand to produce semiconductors. The demand for hi-tech data centres globally is fuelling this growth. Bright Engineering forms part of the semiconductor supply chain and produces precision machined components used in the manufacture of chips globally.

Energy, Subsea, Renewables
Our team have been part of the Oil & Gas supply chain for the last twenty years. We manufacture a wide range of industrial connectors and cable accessories. We are also involved in projects for emerging technologies using hydrogen and electrification.

Motorsport & Transportation
Bright’s machined products have supported many different programmes including gearbox and transmission products. We have also worked on motors for heavy plant operating globally in mining as well as railway products for both rolling stock and signalling.

Aquaculture & Food Supply Chain
Hi-tech food supply chains now rely on increasing amounts of data, surveillance and technology. Our CNC machining services have been trusted on numerous programmes, particularly for salmon farming, for the supply of lights, cameras and winches. We have also regularly contributed to automation projects for food manufacturing, packaging, brewery and bakery supplies.
