Beyond the Machine Shop

What we take on around the machining itself

Precision Assembly

We support the aerospace and defence industry with precision tooling, with bills of materials extending up to 50 parts per assembly. Our team's experience means we're trusted regularly with high-tolerance, challenging builds, supplying ground equipment and tooling that support critical missions all over the world.

One Stop Shop

Bright Engineering aims to be the preferred supplier machining with all our major clients. This is why we go above and beyond to supply a complete bought-out product including a full range of surface treatments and specialist processes. We partner with quality sub vendors across the region and the UK and manage the entire manufacturing cycle and quality trail right up to the point of delivery to your door. This helps our customers reduce transactional churn, keep their supply chains lean, adding value to their businesses.

Supply Chain & Project Support

When a customer has a major project with tight timescales, Bright’s project management team can help. We often take on major orders featuring CNC machining alongside other engineered products such as sheet metal, fabrication, pressings, castings and off-the-shelf proprietary products. Our team has decades of expertise in procuring compliant product from trusted sources to support the supply of major projects and product builds to our clients on time in full.

Design for Manufacture Support

As a service provider, all Bright Engineering’s customers will have their own product, and inevitably they periodically design new ones, or make iterative improvements. Bright’s engineering team often assists customers with feasibility requests for machineability, advice on raw materials and product improvements to mitigate unnecessary costs. In many cases we assist at the start of a product life cycle, supporting with printed models, machined prototypes and technical advice relating to tolerances and CNC machining.
